Network topology manager

The living map of your network

CoreBit turns your infrastructure into interactive topology maps that stay in sync with reality — polling devices, tracing links, and alerting the right person the moment something goes dark. Runs entirely on your own hardware.

Status you can read at a glance

Every node on every map carries one honest colour. It's the same language across the canvas, the device list, and the alerts — so the state of the network is never more than a glance away.

Online

Reachable and polling cleanly.

Warning

Reachable, but a probe or metric crossed a threshold.

Offline

Both API/SNMP and ping failed — a real outage.

Unknown

Not yet polled, or credentials not set.

why corebit

One place for the whole network

Living topology maps

Build multiple maps and link between them. A map-link node glows red when anything inside its submap goes down, so a fault surfaces from the top level.

Monitoring that fails safe

A two-lane poller checks devices in parallel and falls back to ping. Alarms fire only when both the API and ping fail — real outages, not noise.

On-duty alert routing

Route notifications to Telegram, Slack, Pushover, e-mail or a webhook, and hand off to whoever is on shift with per-group on-duty schedules.

Bandwidth on the wire

Read live per-interface throughput straight onto the links between devices, with warning and critical thresholds that alert on sustained load.

A source of truth that maintains itself

Discovered IPs, VLANs, interfaces and MAC tables are kept live as devices are polled — documentation that updates itself instead of going stale.

Yours, on your metal

CoreBit installs on your own Linux box in minutes. No cloud account, no data leaving your network, no per-seat metering.

integrations

Speaks your network's languages

Point CoreBit at a device and it picks the right method automatically — or add your own metrics by OID or exporter path.

  • MikroTik RouterOS API & WinBox — CPU, memory, uptime, firmware, interfaces, IP addresses
  • Generic SNMP Device info, CPU, memory, uptime, interfaces, traffic
  • Prometheus / node_exporter Recommended for servers — full vitals, traffic, IP & MAC
  • Proxmox VE VM placement across a cluster, with dynamic link updates on migration
  • VMware vSphere vCenter-to-host monitoring via the plugin system
  • HP iLO (Redfish) Out-of-band health for servers and similar hardware
  • Ping only Smokeping-style reachability for anything with an address
  • Custom metrics Any SNMP OID or exporter metric, with calculated formulas and alarms
who it's for

Built for the people who keep networks up

ISPs & service providers

Backbone and aggregation visibility across sites, with on-duty routing so the right engineer gets paged — and living maps that document the network as it actually is.

Enterprise & NOC teams

One canvas for the whole estate: switches, servers, hypervisors and out-of-band controllers, with role-based access for operators and viewers.

Power users & homelabs

Free for ten devices with every feature unlocked. Map your rack, watch Proxmox VMs move between hosts, and graph anything an exporter exposes.
